These locks open with a Bluetooth fob or RFID Cards. This is on the 13.56 Mhz frequency.
The SDDS-SSS001A-MB-2G-2 comes with 1 right hand and 1 left hand handle. The handle would be on the inside of the room to be able to get out, just simply pull-down the handle for exit. The opposite side is completely hidden and uses an RFID card or the included Bluetooth wireless fob to operate the lock and gain access to the room. This uses 3 AAA batteries and has an alarm on it when the batteries start to go dead. If not replaced before it reaches low voltage, the lock will unlock so that you are not locked out of the room. Simply change the batteries. Programming doesn't change when batteries die. These is also an option to use a special tool to manually open the door from the outside, a small hole is required to use this feature.
These are used in secret rooms, bookcases, and other areas that requires a residential type locking mechanism. These are not rated for outdoor use. INDOOR USE ONLY.
RFID Locks will not work thru any metal material, including mirrors.
These are made in Taiwan.

Outstanding locks
Purchased three of these for hidden door application and they have been awesome! I'd recommend the company add additional remotes, but overall these are great.
