High-quality RFID cabinet lock comes with 3 credit card sized key cards (1 management key and 2 user keys). This is a new model and now has a port (usbC) for an A/C Adapter or power jack cable. (The AC adapter (KR-S80-ACplug-usbC) and power jack cable (PJC-usbC-XX) are not included. The unit operates on 4 AAA batteries and/or the optional A/C Adapter (NOT INCLUDED). Easy to install. Instructions and screws are included. Keep your valuables safe and accessible! This lock releases with about 20 pounds of pressure on it. These are commonly used in shelf / drop down applications.

Please note: the Striker 61D must have the emergency alarm shut off in auto open mode as the striker head is to small to be detected and the alarm will go off every 45 seconds.
You can select to get this lock with or without a power jack cable. If you need an external power supply to plug into the power jack cable, please order our external power supply, its part# PS-002-3.5.
RFID will not work thru any metal or mirrors.
If you want to turn off the sound to this lock, please order KR-Sound Card. This card turns sound on and off with all KR Style locks.
This RFID lock can be easily mounted inside of furniture drawers or cabinet doors unseen to the eye. Perfect for hidden compartments or shop displays and unlocked with the included user card. RFID cards easily access the sensor through up to 1.5" of hardwood or glass. 4 AAA power the unit with a working battery life of up to 50,000 cycles. If battery life starts to get low, a low voltage alarm will sound to indicate a battery change is necessary. Total battery drainage will result in the lock being unable to lock ensuring you will never have a locked-out situation. Each lock features spring releases that will give the drawer, cabinet etc. a push to open itself (spring release can be removed). Easy to follow setup instructions included will guide you to use the programming manager key to activate your user cards. All stress points are reinforced with steel. No PC necessary to activate user cards!

GREAT LOCK
Very robust mechanism able to support 2 pistols plus the physical dropdown tray with total weight over 6lbs. Another similar unit I tried couldn't handle the weight without assistance on unlock. I'm adding a second one and have recommended it to others.

I love it, I installed it in a mailbox that I built and it works great! Directions are a little hard to understand at first but practice makes perfect. I would recommend this lock for any application lite to medium duty that needs to be hidden.

KR-RFID lock
First- Jeff's customer service is outstanding! He answered all my concerns very quickly even at a late hour and shipped next day, AWESOME! I installed 2 of these on a converted entertainment center to secure some medication. The activation beep is much quieter than the Armstrong ones and similar looking RFID-2B from different seller. A little work to get to fit correctly because of cabinet. Locks work great. I also like that if batteries die it will stay unlocked. Others stay locked when out of power. Kids college dorm room, batteries guaranteed to not be replaced in time. Don't want to rip cabinet apart to access when that happens.
