High-quality RFID cabinet lock comes with 3 credit card sized key cards (1 management key and 2 user keys). This is a new model and now has a port (usbC) for an A/C Adapter or power jack cable. (The AC adapter (KR-S80-ACplug-usbC) and power jack cable (PJC-usbC-XX) are not included. The unit operates on 4 AAA batteries and/or the optional A/C Adapter (NOT INCLUDED). Easy to install. Instructions and screws are included. Keep your valuables safe and accessible! This lock releases with about 20 pounds of pressure on it. These are commonly used in shelf / drop down applications.

Please note: the Striker 61D must have the emergency alarm shut off in auto open mode as the striker head is to small to be detected and the alarm will go off every 45 seconds.
You can select to get this lock with or without a power jack cable. If you need an external power supply to plug into the power jack cable, please order our external power supply, its part# PS-002-3.5.
RFID will not work thru any metal or mirrors.
If you want to turn off the sound to this lock, please order KR-Sound Card. This card turns sound on and off with all KR Style locks.
This RFID lock can be easily mounted inside of furniture drawers or cabinet doors unseen to the eye. Perfect for hidden compartments or shop displays and unlocked with the included user card. RFID cards easily access the sensor through up to 1.5" of hardwood or glass. 4 AAA power the unit with a working battery life of up to 50,000 cycles. If battery life starts to get low, a low voltage alarm will sound to indicate a battery change is necessary. Total battery drainage will result in the lock being unable to lock ensuring you will never have a locked-out situation. Each lock features spring releases that will give the drawer, cabinet etc. a push to open itself (spring release can be removed). Easy to follow setup instructions included will guide you to use the programming manager key to activate your user cards. All stress points are reinforced with steel. No PC necessary to activate user cards!

Good product, horrible instructions, but great customer support
This locking mechanism works just fine! Unfortunately, the instructions are in broken English (I am being kind/generous). To program the unit you have to decipher the intent of someone who is probably doing his/her best to speak English; possibly as a third or fourth language, but falling as short as a munchkin on Wizard of Oz. The sentences are conjugated awkwardly at best, and wholly unintelligible at worst. There is also nothing in the instructions (unintelligible or otherwise) about pressing and holding two buttons simultaneously, which is the only way to do a reset. Fortunately, the kind gentleman at Lock Connection who was staffing the support desk talked me off the ledge and did an OUTSTANDING job getting it to work and talking me off the ledge. Lock Connection response: Thank you for your purchase! We are glad you like this lock! We recognize the instructions need to be written in proper English. This is something we have on our "to do list". However, we do program every lock before it ships out so all any customer needs to do is add batteries and its all ready to go. We also have a YouTube video on our product page to help program the lock if it somehow becomes deprogrammed. Also, the way to reset the lock is to push the reset button for 5 seconds. The only time you need to push 2 buttons at the same time is if you want to turn off the open alarm. Then you push the #1 and #2 button at the same time for 1 second and it will beep 2 times....this indicates that function is now off. Thank you for the kind words on our customer service staff. Hidden cabinet lock
I bought this to use on a secret door to a movie nook under the stairs for my kids. I needed something that wouldn’t lock automatically when closed and this works perfect since there are multiple programs. It works extremely well and is very high quality. Would definitely buy again for a different project if needed.

Great product
It's a hidden electronic lock, so you get exactly what you're paying for. Seems pretty sturdy, and it DOES come preprogrammed to work exactly how anyone would want it to, no need to adjust any settings except maybe the "nonlocked" beep warning. Don't have any unrealistic expectations that it'll stop a sledgehammer. Great product, you should buy.

Quality product
Built a drop-down shelf to store hidden firearm. Originally used a less expensive lock but it didnt have the power to release the lock when there was weight in the shelf. For only $10 more this unit has the power needed. Also, customer service is tops. Emailed with my concerns and got an almost immediate response from Jeff who recommended the proper product. If you have any questions before you buy, Jeff is a great resource.
