very happy
Lock works as advertised. I used this to lock a small wood drawer. Had for 9 months or so. It beeps many times when batteries are about to die. Makes it easy to know when to change them out. Not sure what happens if I don't change them, so I give 4 stars. But so far so good. Lock Connection response: Thank you for your order! We are glad you like this lock. It is one of our most popular. You are correct in that it does have a low battery alarm. When you scan the lock, it will beep many times indicating that the battery voltage is low. This is a perfect time to change out the batteries. However, if you forget, these locks are programmed to automatically unlock if the voltage gets lower than 3.6volts. These locks can come with a power jack cable as well in case you need to give the lock power and it is still locked. Typically this could be needed if battery terminals corrode or aren't making good contact.

Lock works good
I used 4 of these. 3 in drawers....which they work very well. I got it with the cables and I lie having a safely port to plug into if needed. the 4th was used in a drop down application. It works ok, but sometimes after I scan the lock, I have to push up n the shelf to release the pressure off of the plunger. Its not the end of the work, but it would be nice If I didn't have to do this. 5 months so far and no issues. Hope none arise. I would use these again.

good lock
I was looking for a lock that had 2 ways to power the lock up. Last lock I used the batteries died and it stayed locks and I had to break into it. I use 2 of these in a hidden cabinet. I liked that I was able to have these programmed to use the same card (Just call them and ask, they did this for free). I like the power cable. Mounts pretty easy on the inside. I did have to drill a hole in my cabinet. This is needed to plug in a power supply if the batteries are dead. So far this lock works great, I hope it lasts a long time. I wish a power supply came with it, but I had to buy one.
