These have a QPQ black finish on the rod rather than the standard chromium finish others sell. This offers a much harder rod, much better rust protection, smoother movement and longer seal life! Keeps your damper working at the rating much longer than others.

Concealment shelf dampeners
These by far are the best dampner struts I have found for use in building concealment shelves. If you need help choosing the correct size or rating for your application, don't be afraid to ask the Lock Connection either. They helped me find the right ones for my applications. Awesome service and I don't usually do reviews.
Called on Saturday, got help with what to order (needed a damper for a shelf I built). hung up the phone...got an email literally 3 min later that it shipped. I thought it was a mistake, so I called back....nope no mistake, they packed it, and shipped it in less than 5 minutes. I received it on the following Monday morning.
