8.58" extended length, Extension damper. Slowly lowers lids on extension stroke only. No force (very little) required to close. Ideal for shelves or lids that lower / drop from the bottom. Comes with black brackets and screws.
These are a special configuration that comes with 1 composite end fitting, 1 black metal end fitting with 2 black 5/16"-18 ball studs. These have a QPQ black finish on the rod rather than the standard chromium finish others sell. This offers a much harder rod, much better rust protection, smoother movement and longer seal life! Keeps your damper working at the rating much longer than others.

8.58" Dampers
Purchased ~500 of these Extension Dampers for our church to prevent kneelers from banging on the floor.
